Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell (born August 25, 1949) is an American TV chef personality. She also was an instructor for the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne W. Burrell is host on Secrets of a Restaurant Chef for the Food Network, as well as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network star with her trademark spikey blonde hair and bubbly personality, reveals simple techniques to master and reduces anxiety about restaurant food on her TV show Secrets of a Restaurant. Chef Burrell is also a veteran of New York City's best restaurants. Additionally, she has learned about Italy's food traditions and culture, as well as the landscape. In Italy Burrell developed a profound appreciation and understanding of Italian cuisine and its culture. It has had a profound impact on the way she approaches her cuisine. Burrell was the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board member, which aims to enhance the quality of life for children facing challenges. Burrell also serves as an Juvenile Disease Research Foundation (JDRF) celebrity ambassador, and is a vocal advocate for awareness of childhood diabetes. As a guest speaker and teacher Burrell travels throughout the US to talk about her passion for cooking as well as her professional career. Anne in all her cooking journey, has said that it is a privilege to be able to be able to share this love of life with others.
